Book Review: The Coming Revolution

Signal our Nation’s Future, Richard G. Lee, Nashville, TN: Thomas Nelson, Inc., 2012, 212 pp.

The Coming Revolution, written by Richard G. Lee, is a book that I would read again and again. I don’t know if I knew that Dr. Lee is a pastor when I requested this book to review. I don’t know whether or not it would have mattered. Although I am not traditionally religious, I do believe in God.

But it doesn’t really matter. Dr. Lee does not preach at you in this book. He simply tells a story about our heritage—and what a brave heritage it was. Our forefathers were godly men who founded our country on principles of faith in a higher power.

He gives quite a history lesson in this book. I don’t know if I ever knew some of the information he shares, but it was very interesting. But he doesn’t use this just as a history lesson; rather he uses it to draw a parallel between the atrocities perpetrated on our forefathers by King George of England and those that are perpetrated on us today by our leaders. His words convinced me that we are, indeed, on the verge of another American Revolution.

But Dr. Lee does not believe that it will be fought with guns or other weapons, but with our votes and other (less violent) means.

We shall see…

I received a copy of this book for purposes of a review. I was not required to give a positive review, and my opinions are my own.
